Zoopla owner unveils home moving platform for agents

Zoopla owner Houseful has launched Movemnt, described as a national home transaction infrastructure for all property professionals.

Movemnt joins the Houseful family of brands including Zoopla, estate agent software Alto, new homes software Yourkeys and Hometrack.

Free to join for estate agents, conveyancers, mortgage lenders and brokers, Movemnt promises to increase the flow of home transactions to businesses.

It has integrated over 70 conveyancers and brokers, while more than 50 agents and housebuilders have already processed a transaction using its functionality. This is anticipated to scale rapidly in the coming weeks and months.

The platform aims to help agents get more instructions, provide updates on transactions and earn referrals.

Additional benefits for agents specifically include the ability to leverage their existing conveyancer relationships and onboard them to Movemnt, while Alto customers can see integrated milestone updates such as exchange and completion directly in their account.

Commenting on the launch, Ric Dawson, chief operating officer of software at Houseful, said: “Leveraging Houseful’s well-known brands to create Movemnt is truly transformational for the property industry as a whole.

“We already have a well-established network of conveyancers and brokers to enable a streamlined transaction and will be further building out Movemnt’s partners at speed over the coming weeks. Movemnt is an open platform that anyone can join and we already have dialogues with several other CRM providers to connect Movemnt’s network to their customers.”
