The Herne Hill office reaches across neighbouring residential areas such as Dulwich Village and East Dulwich, and the Beckenham office also covers Keston, Bromley and Chislehurst.

The Herne Hill office occupies a prominent corner plot in the heart of the market area on Railton Road and will be run by head of sales Sarah Dirilen alongside newly appointed head of lettings Elizabeth Whitehead.

The Beckenham office, situated in the old Lloyds Bank building on the High Street, is led by branch manager Lisa Knight, sales manager Denise Fellows and lettings manager Bradley Gilchrist.

Polly Ogden Duffy, managing director at John D Wood & Co, said: "We are thrilled to announce our expansion into Southeast London and Kent. Beckenham and Herne Hill have long been on our radar as natural extensions of our network, offering our clients village charm within Greater London amongst thriving communities, as well as excellent connectivity to the country and central London.

“Following the success of our post-pandemic established Country House Department which continues to see strong demand for prime homes in Kent, this expansion into southeast London highlights the growing interest in areas that offer a balance between urban and rural living.

“Our goal is to be the local prime agent of choice, bringing our extensive local knowledge and exceptional service to the residents of Herne Hill and Beckenham. We look forward to becoming an integral part of these vibrant communities and continuing our tradition of excellence in assisting buyers, sellers, landlords and tenants.”
